As part of Enterprise Risk Management, CHAP expedites the consolidation of risk data for mission-critical cyber objectives by gathering information from 15 different sources across three platforms. This comprehensive consolidation provides a detailed risk overview for over 700,000 points across specialized Department of Defense (DoD) systems and 132 remote facilities.

The main advantage of CHAP is its ability to streamline and expedite corrective actions by instantly updating risk management data for all users with system access. This capability ensures enhanced security and patient care, as the platform allows for real-time risk assessment and decision-making. The automated, real-time reporting and analysis provided by CHAP is a significant improvement over traditional manual reporting methods.

Nathan Swab, the Executive Director at Sentar, highlighted the transformative impact of CHAP on healthcare cybersecurity for the DoD. He expressed his pride in receiving recognition from FORUM and shared the credit with their partners at Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic and Defense Health Agency.
