Centralized Terminal Management System for Fintech

At our FinTech project, we designed and developed an advanced Terminal Management System (TMS). This TMS manages over 200,000 POS devices while supporting over 800,000 payment terminals - while also being capable of supporting 800,000.

Challenges

Our solution entails centralizing control of distributed POS terminals while creating a user-friendly and intuitive interface, securely protecting transactional data, integrating devices from multiple OEMs and existing technologies, and seamlessly managing operations across them all.

This project created a centralized Terminal Management System with the following capabilities:

 U/I Design: Enabling seamless user interaction.

Frontend and Backend Development: Ensuring robust operations.

Socket.IO Integration: Enabling real-time data transmission.

Beta Testing: Comprehensive quality and performance tests were completed to ensure quality and performance of the system. This provides a centralized platform to register, configure, and manage POS devices while decreasing operational complexities.

Results

A Centralized Dashboard designed to facilitate the management of thousands of terminals from different OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), providing one central place for overseeing operations. The dashboard allows real-time monitoring and control of terminals regardless of manufacturer. This reduces on-site field support requirements as most issues can be solved remotely, leading to significant cost savings and shorter response times. This solution enhances operational efficiency by offering an all-encompassing view of a network, enabling faster decision-making, proactive maintenance, and optimized resource allocation. Furthermore, its intuitive scalability supports expansion without compromise in performance or extensive infrastructure changes.
