Gujarat or the land of the legends is one of the diverse states of India. Gujarat gets its name from Gujjar Rashtra, a migrant tribe who came to India in the 5th century. Gir National Park: Established in 1965, it is the only national park in India where Asiatic Lions are to be found apart from Africa. The terrain here comprises of mixed deciduous forests, shrubs and grasslands and some marshlands. It is also home to the largest Leopard population in India. It also has 3 smaller wildcats. The forests have a rich variety of bird species- more than 300. The major attraction here is the lion shows organize by the Gir national park authorities.

Dwarka: Is one of the 4 main centres of pilgrimage (Char Dham) in India. It is said that Lord Krishna used to live here during the kingship of Dwarka. The present temple here is supposed to be as old as 8000 years. The major temples at Dwarka are Nageshwar Shiva temple, Iskon temple, Beyt Dwarka, Shri Krishna temple, Hanuman temple and many more.

Dumas Beach: It is famous for its black sand and is located along the Arabian Sea in Surat. It is famed as one of the most haunted beaches in India because it is a cremation ground. Many locals have claimed paranormal activity at the beach area. One of the prominent temples here is the Darya Ganesh temple. Other attractions are the several shops here that serve a variety of cuisine.
