They have been focusing on the surroundings of the Shetland Isle by making sure that their knitting patterns is a contrast between the wonderful waves and the bright sky that may have ruled over the region in the past.

The Lyle and Scott polos which are sold in the public can be of any variation – there are those which are fully designed with the Fair Isle knitting tradition, while others only has parts of it. For example, the pattern can only be seen at the upper half of the polo or at the pocket attached either at the chest area or the lower corner, which is usually at the right side.

Aside from the Lyle and Scott polos with this design, the company has also incorporated it into button down long sleeves, scarves, and skull caps. This is done in order to make sure that there is something for everyone because it is a given that not everyone likes either polo or a long sleeve.
