Although feeling stuck is not at the top of anybody’s To Do list, we may find ourselves at this juncture at some point or another in our lives. You know that feeling when you have a particular vision in mind and maybe even a plan on how to get it but you just can’t seem to get there? Do roadblocks keep coming up? Are you there now?

Before you get ready to pull your hair out, let’s take a look at BEING STUCK from a slightly different angle. So what could possibly good about this you ask? Well let’s see:

1- Being stuck may actually be an OPPORTUNITY for you to take the time to see what you need to see, understand what you need to understand, or even experience what you need to before making your vision a reality.

2- Being stuck makes you take a step back and REASSESS what you really want. When we are excited or fearful, we may rush into actions that we may later regret. This unexpected or unwelcomed time-out makes us slow down and reassess any unrealistic plans or goals we may have made.

3- Being stuck gives you an opportunity to become open to receiving the ASSISTANCE you may need but were reluctant or too rushed to ask for. It also gives you the opportunity to explore resources available to you that you may not even have considered or overlooked.

4- Being stuck gives you the chance for some well-deserved R&R (REST & RELAXATION). It allows you a chance to recharge yourself not only physically, but also mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. When your spirit is dwindling and your get up and go has gone with you, it is your body’s way of letting you know that it needs a break. Mind, body, & soul.

The reason for being stuck may not become clear until the timing is right for you to move forward. Until then, ask yourself, "What do I need right now?” What am I meant to learn during this time-out?” Being stuck can bring about many new insights and rewards we never expected. Use your time well
