Euro Winter Events You’d Be Mad To Miss

There are several incredible skiing and music festivals going on in Europe next year, so don't miss out!

Europe is home to a number of exciting and diverse winter ski and music events, most of which take place in the spring across France, Austria and Switzerland. Whilst each has its own unique character, they are all guaranteed to leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.

Tomorrowland, France

Once you’ve purchased some winter sports insurance, you’ll be ready to head off on your trip. If you’re looking for an exciting festival to get your adventure off to a flying start, look no further than Tomorrowland in France. The festival organisers are set to hire out the entirety of Alpe d’Huez for a week in March, with 30,000 people expected to attend.

With the line-up featuring the likes of Martin Garrix and Armin Van Buuren, this is quite simply one of the most unmissable events in the calendar!

Chamonix Unlimited

During the first week in April, Chamonix Unlimited is set to light up the slopes just below Europe’s highest peak, Mt. Blanc. This event will not only feature some of the biggest DJs in the world, but several stages and even a pool party!

There’ll be a number of lively clubs open for you to keep the party going all night long, and Chamonix Unlimited will also feature ‘wild skiing’ every morning. Some of the available package deals include luxury accommodation complete with heated pools – what more could you wish for?

Snowbombing, Austria

Approximately 100 artists are said to be performing at Snowbombing next year, so this is definitely not something to miss. Fatboy Slim will be taking the stage, alongside a number of other big names from the world’s music scene. It’s no wonder this is known as one of Europe’s most epic festivals.

Next year marks the 20th anniversary of Snowbombing, and it promises to be just as incredible as every previous year. Set to feature igloo raves, fancy dress parties and luxury spas, this event is right up there with the most exciting festivals happening next year.

Rock the Pistes

Stretching across a whole week, Rock the Pistes will take place high up in the Alps and is set to be a real highlight of the festival calendar when it kicks off in March. Whilst the festival itself will be incredible, the alpine views from the top are sure to be equally awesome.

The music itself is actually free at this festival. All you have to do is pay for your lift pass, and the rest is yours to enjoy!

Before You Go

In order to fully enjoy in these fantastic events, purchase some winter sports insurancewell in advance of your trip. This will enable you to leave all your worries behind you while knowing that you’re fully protected against anything unexpected that might happen whilst you’re away.

The major ski resorts of Europe play host to a number of exciting festivals, so if you’re heading for the pistes sometime soon, make sure you get your party gear, event tickets and winter sports insurance sorted before it’s too late.
