Change Fuses: One Burned? Change them all!

One of the simple things you can do for yourself and with no need for expensive repairs is changing fuses. It is quite simple to change a fuse and these are extremely important since they are what make your pick-up truck start.

If one fuse burns out, the others will follow shortly, so replace them all - other things you should consider is that fuses are usually sold in full sets, so you would be changing them all anyway.

Simple tasks make the difference.

Tire Pressure: Measure it often, get it right!

You need to check you tires' pressure and make sure the pressure is always as recommended by the manufacturer. Usually, you'll find these recommendations in the vehicle's documents, but many vehicles include small stickers or engravings to help you out when in a rush. You can usually find these notes on the back of your deposit's little door or on the inside of your vehicles' door hinges.

Proper tire maintenance means less flat tires, less danger and fewer expenses.

Store your Vehicle Appropriately:

If you're going to give your pick-up truck's some vacation time, then you must extra careful about where you store it.

Make sure you don't store it out on the open as it will get a lot of erosion aggression and be subject to the weather, falling debris, dust and so on.

On the other hand, make sure you aren't storing it on a damp place that might gather a lot of humidity or get animals like rats, snakes and bugs to damage your truck.

Be smart! Use common sense!

Change your Oil: Keep it Fresh!

Don't stick to reading the labels to make sure your oil gets changed as per the manufacturer's or mechanic's recommendations - don't get us wrong, that is an excellent start and you should  be doing that, but you should check your oil regularly too in order to make sure its levels are good and that it isn't dry or feels old.

Keep it fresh, it's the blood of your engine.

Clean, Wax and Detail your Pick-Up Truck:

Make it look like it is fresh out of the stand by cleaning it, waxing it and detailing it often.

Rinse it and wash it in order to remove every dust particle from its sensible paint, wax it with a woolen cloth and apply some paint guard or finisher in order to give it an extra edge.

This process should be included on what we consider to be basic car care, and there are a lot of people that underestimate its power.
