Buick breaks its Global Sales Record in 2013

Buick was practically a flagship for General Motors for a period of several years. According to information published by General Motors, the majority of Buick vehicles were sold in the United States, Canada, China and Mexico. According to General Motors, total sales were up more than 15% for the entire year, marking one of the most impressive comebacks in automobile history.

General Motors released a publication that indicated that more than 40% of the individuals that purchased a new Buick in 2013 had never purchased a Buick before. It indicates that not only are they getting return customers, but they are bringing in almost half of their sales from people that have never expressed an interest in owning a Buick before. It shows the company that they are definitely headed in the right direction and that if they continue on this path, they have the potential to be one of the best-selling lines of automobiles ever produced.

Buick’s newfound success can be attributed to many factors. Perhaps the most important is the redesign of trusted models that have been in the Buick lineup for years, in combination with the introduction of new sedans and a number of crossover vehicles that appeal to a large part of the general public. Buick has done a lot over the last several years to reinvent its image.
